Room #6: Machine Room A Generator Supply Room

It's as dark in here as it is out there. Um, I think that clicking was the door shutting. Let's see...

... balls, I can't find the handle. Where is it!? Ugh, deep breaths. Stay calm. Let's look at where we are. It's kinda small, maybe ten feet by ten feet? I can kinda see some shelves along the walls and a box or two on the OUCH.

Rephrase, a box or THREE on the floor. Bloody metal boxes.

Anyways, there's yet another box on the wall. I think it's a breaker box. Let's take a look...

... hmm. It's nonfunctional, though just barely. I think I could rig it to work if I had the right equipment. Let's take a look around...

...

... Ha! Got lucky. Or maybe not so much "lucky" as "I'm in a bloody supply room." Anyways, found a toolbox with some pliers and another one with a bunch of wiring. Let's do this...

...

... and there we go! Spliced a couple wires together, and we now have power once again. Lot brighter in here. The room is mostly empty, though. The boxes are mostly filled with the same types of things I've already found. Wires, pliers, wrenches, etc.

Still, I think it's turned on the lights out there as well. Let's take a look...

Room #5 - Machine Room A: Generator

Overriding, oh crap that's loud. Uh, the door has moved aside. Let's go in, then, I guess? Ah, crap, it just shut behind me. There's a big 7 spraypainted on it, and it looks kinda like a gear. I don't know why I'm describing it but I'm kind of nervous so I'm babbling, okay?

It's really, really dark in here. I think I can vaguely make out three doors, and there's this big black... pillar...  thing... in the middle of the room. Hrm, I can hear running water. I can see the floor to the room on my right, so I think I'm going to go in there. Maybe there's something in there that I could use?

Ach! Tripped. Ugh, that hurts. At least it didn't cut through my slacks, right?

Let's go inside...

Room #4 - Machine Room A Sublevel 2

I think I'm back in the same room as I was in just now, the big one with lots of machines. Now that I'm down here, I can see several signs which seems to designate the purpose of each machine. Let's see... 'Designation: Unit 89-B.'

Well. That was helpful.

Uh... the machines are forming solid banks around me, so I can't really go through or over them, and they go up against the walls, so I can't go around... wait. There's a door at the end of this room. Wow, that door is huge! It looks like some sort of blast door. Hey, there's a computer next to it...

This is a really old fashioned computer. Black and green are the only colors, and there's no mouse, only a keyboard. There's two lines of text on the screen:

"1. Log 089"
"2. Door sealed. User override permitted. Activate?"

Let's check the log...

"We were pressed back today. We've lost  the majority of Dead Sea's contubernium and have no gains to show for it. Please advise. - Inculta."

... huh. Let's open the door...

Room #3 - Machine Room A

This room is... kinda big. Scratch that, really big. I can barely see the other side. I'm kinda high up, though. I'm on a catwalk of some sort. Below me are a bunch of machines. I... can't really tell what they're doing. I think they're manufacturing something, from the looks of the tubes and ducts connecting them, but they're sealed off, so I can't tell.

Hmm, there's some stairs to my right, going down into what looks like a small room. Let's take a look...

... there's a plaque on the door, marked: Machine Room A Storage. Huh. Let's go inside, then, I guess...

...

... it's dark in here. A lot of boxes scattered around. Anything in these?

Well, there's a bunch of wrenches, pliers, scrap metal, the works. Wait, there's a paper here. It says this: 'Subject 27's readings are phenomenal. He is proceeding through the Maze with unprecedented speed. The last one to go through that quickly was Nero... but I digress. He is almost finished with the Machine Labyrinth  I'm going to reroute him into Wednesday's Labyrinth when he's finished. Prep the welcome committee and two possible pathways. He should be another hour or so.

That... was rather cryptic. I wonder what it was doing in a random box, though. Either way, I'm going to assume that I am most likely in the Maze, then. He or she referenced the Machine Labyrinth, which could fit the room that I was just in. I'm not going to pass judgment quite yet, but it seems pretty certain that I'm in this "Labyrinth."

There's another door here...

Room 2 - Hall

This hall is dark, going in both directions. There's a lightbulb hanging from the ceiling here, but otherwise I can't really see anything going down the hall...

Um... left or right? I think we should go right. I dunno why, but I'm getting a good feeling about going right. Or maybe I'm just trying to convince myself that I know what I'm doing. Either way, right it is.

This hallway is getting darker...

... and there we go! It's starting to get a little brighter. Hang on, there's a door up ahead, with light leaking out from under it. There's something written on here. What does that say...?

 Manufactorum Secundus...? That sounds pleasant as all get out. Oh, wait, there's something written next to it. Is that permanent marker? Vandals.

Oh, right. Anyways. It says: "You can go home now, Sunday."

Room 1 - Cell

Ugh, my head hurts really bad. It's dark in here, though there's light coming in from a window above me. It's almost twenty feet higher than my head, though, so I can't really see out of it. I wish I could, though, because this place isn't familiar at all. It's sort of cold, too.

Oh, where are my manners? My name is... odd. I don't remember my name. What does the paper say? Ah, yes. My name is Monday. Mr. Monday. Well, at least, that's what this paper said. It left instructions to talk into the microphone clipped to me and that it would transfer my words to a text document. Hm. I'm not really sure why it wants me to do so... It's rather odd.

Um, anyways, there's one door in front of me, so let's give it a try. Nope, locked. Well, I guess that was too much to hope for. Let's take a look around, then. The floor's damp, ew. Straw, bed, bucket... Wait, here's a screwdriver. Let's grab this long piece of straw...

Ha! It worked! Knowing a locksmith pays off sometimes, eh?

Oh, there's a hall out there... and it's dark... I dunno if I want to go out there. Well... I guess whatever is out there will be better than in here...
